4. Kapusniak

The main ingredient in this dish as with many other Eastern European dishes, is sauerkraut. It's rinsed beforehand and gives Kapusniak its clear color, and is cooked in a meat or mushroom broth, along with onions, carrots potatoes, and bay leaves and a garnish of chopped parsley and sourcream.
