7. Borshch
Borscht, a soup made of beetroot that is served cold or hot and is suitable for vegetarians as well as carnivores alike, has a richer flavor when it's flavoured with yogurt or sourcream. In Ukrainian tradition, it is often served with garlic doughnuts. Borshch made from meat is prepared in a stock and the version without meat is made up of only vegetables. It is vegan by using non-dairy soured cream. In the spring, this country has a long-standing tradition of making green boshch.
