Pigeon, Attack!

While pigeons can appear friendly, they're still wild animals. Like squirrels, pigeons may seem friendly when you bring them snacks. However, the moment you decide you'd like to have the rest of the snacks yourself then they could easily start fighting you. Could be that or someone perhaps trained this particular pigeon on how to attack.
